Data We Collect

  • At the Sign-Up

To register on SSelf you will need to provide information including your Name, Email Address, Password, and Date of Birth.
If you choose to register from another social network (e.g., Facebook or Twitter), we will only receive information about your Name, Email Address and social network ID.
In this case, you will have to consent to the transfer of data from the social network.

  • Profile Data

In your Profile (Digital Cortex) you can decide which data and information you want to disclose, such as your photo, city, or gender.
This additional information is not mandatory, and it is up to you to provide it. However, if this information is filled in, it will help other users on the network find you in the search or your Second Self (digital counterpart) know the right way to interact in the AI SSelf system.

  • Posts and Sharing

We collect your personal data when you provide, post or upload it to our system. You are not required to post or upload personal data, but in that case, your ability to enjoy our services and interact with the network will be limited.

  • SSelf Chat and Notifications

We collect your personal data when you send, receive or interact through messages with other users of the network. For example, if you receive a connection request, we will track your action and may send you some reminders.

  • Sharing Information with Third Parties

We collect your personal data such as your reactions and interests to obtain relevant content for you on partner platforms.
Your Second Self (digital counterpart) does this collection for you. You may disable your Second Self's activity in your account settings, but in that case, your ability to enjoy our services and interact with the network will be limited. Currently, we include YouTube, Wikiquote, Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, VK, and others as third parties.

What Information is Collected?

The collected information may be divided into two types:

  • Technical information
This type of information is associated with data related to your interaction with the AI SSelf System. This data includes your IP address, date, and time of the access request, web page address, browser information, error details in case of crashes, etc.

  • Personal information
This type of information is associated with your personal data. When you sign up or use the AI SSelf System, you may voluntarily share certain information. This can include information such as your name, profile photo, comments, email address, and any other information you provide.

How is your data used?

How we use your data depends on your account settings.

  • Interact on the Network
We use the data you provide us to help you find friends on the network, propose relevant content to you, or share your posts with your friends or the general public.
    • When you make a post or share on SSelf, you can decide who can see it. By default, only your friends will have access and be able to view it on the Bridge. Other users or visitors will be able to find and view your posts and shares if you mark them as public. This includes your name (and your photo, if you have uploaded one).
You can also set the post or share to private. In that case, they will only be able to view it.
    • When you post or share on a user's Cortex, the user will have access to the posted content, including your name (and your photo, if you uploaded it).
  •

Empowering the Second Self with Intelligence
We use the data you provide to provide your Second Self (digital counterpart) with intelligence and to teach it about how to interact on the cyberspace, about its tastes and interests. The more data you provide, the more accurate and complete your Second Self's learning will be. You can deactivate or regulate the level of interaction of your Second Self in the general settings.

  •

    Sending Emails
We may contact you by email, notices posted on your Cortex, or by SSelf Chat made available on AI SSelf System.
We may send you messages about service availability, security, or other issues related to our services. We also send messages about system updates or reminders. You can disable the receipt of emails at any time in your account settings.
